Calamagrostis canadensis is an exceptionally hardy native ornamental grass. It prefers cool soils, but tolerate other soil types. Its golden spikes take on a most elegant pinkish coloration as the summer progresses.

Sowing method : No pre-treatment necessary. Sow seeds when there is no risk of ground frost. Sow seeds on the surface without covering after sowing. These seeds are very small and need light to germinate.
