Cultural practices : plant three seeds per mound, make sure the seeds are whole.

Soil : peanuts only grow in well-drained, warm soils and prefer long, hot summers.

Spacing : 40 cm in the row and 45 cm between the rows.

Growing tips : the flowers should appear in the axils of the leaves. They will produce an elongated capsule which will gradually bury itself underground. As is usually done with potatoes, it is therefore advisable to add potting soil to the base of the plant to allow all the capsules to find refuge in the soil.

Harvest : at the first frost, harvest the peanuts and dry them in their scales. Bake them in the oven at 150 ° C (300 ° F) before eating them.
