Recommendations :
Indoor sowing : Between February and April
This variety produces peanuts that are smaller than those sold in grocery stores, but its nuts are of high quality. After fertilization, the flower stalks crawl below the soil surface to form their fruits.
Green Thumb
Cultural practices : Sow indoors between February and April. Plant your seedlings at a depth equal to three times the height of the seed. Place your tray on top of the refrigerator. As soon as you see a sprout, move it into the sunlight. It needs warmth at all times; it's important not to let it experience drought when it's young
Soil : Well-draining with a good percentage of sand
Spacing : When preparing your vegetable garden, make small mounds measuring 60 cm by 60 cm, 10 cm thick, and leave 30 cm between each mound
Growing tips : Some seedlings may rot, so it's better to sow a few extra
Harvest : August – September, when the foliage turns yellow, pull out the plant, shake off the soil, and let it dry before harvesting the peanuts. To enjoy them, cook them at 150°C for 1 hour with their shells on.
