This trap is designed to attract and capture adult Japanese beetle (Popillia japonica) on lawns, trees, shrubs and in gardens. It contains 2 types of bait for increased effectiveness: a floral scent to attract males and females and a sex pheromone to attract males. Use the trap from mid-June to mid-August when adult Japanese beetles are active. To maximize effectiveness, place the trap 10 ft from where the Japanese beetles are found, 3 ft off the ground, and facing the wind. The trap is reusable and the bait is designed for a full season.
