Cultivation mode

Plantation : Indoor: Sow 6-8 weeks before the last frost. It is advisable to sow 3–5 seeds directly in the final pot. Maintain seedling temperatures 21 °C. Germination takes between 14 and 28 days. Blooms the first year. Outdoor: Planting can be done both in spring and in autumn. Flowering will take place in the second year.

Soil : Indoor: Well-drained, porous seedlings soil to prevent overwatering. Outdoor: Well-drained, average to rich soil.

Culturals practices : Classic evergreen perennial ground cover is covered with showy yellow flowers in spring and summer. A perfect choice for the rock garden, between or on dry wall. Works well in containers and hanging baskets. This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds. Deer resistant. Partial to full sun and well-drained soil. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Once established, sedum plants require little care. Drought tolerant, only occasional watering needing. Check your plants regularly to make sure they are not too dry and water (sparingly) if needed. If your area gets rain, every couple of weeks at the least, sedum shouldn’t need any extra-watering. Pruning is done at ground level in spring to promote the next flowering. For a neat appearance, remove old foliage before new leaves emerge. If use between stepping-stones, after flowering, cut back the plants to maintain their shape or contain them in one area. Divide clumps every two to three years in early spring.
