Recommendations :
Indoor sowing : It is suggested to sow 8-10 weeks before planting outside. (*)
(*) From 7 to 10 days after the date of the last ground frost.
Rapido is a hybrid variety replacing the Clips Blue. More uniform, it will bloom the first year, 3 to 4 weeks earlier. Larger flowers than the non-hybrid Clips . A true improvement !
Cultivation mode
Plantation : Indoor: It is suggested to sow 10 weeks before planting outside. Keep the temperature around 18-22 °C. Germination time is between 7-9 days.
Soil : Indoor: Well-drained, porous seedlings soil to prevent overwatering.Outdoor: Loose soil.
Culturals practices : Campanula flowers best in sunny exposure but accepts partial or even light shade. It grows in any soil that is not too heavy and does not dry out in summer, but a place where its roots can sink deeply: sandy soil, even poor, calcareous or silty soil (basic or acidic). gravelly, but still in ordinary and rich soil where it becomes exuberant, for our greatest pleasure. It is hardy down to -35 °C and therefore does not fear the cold, however it can fear heat: does not like temperatures that remain above 30 °C for a long time. Its culture is really adapted to temperate climates.
