Cultivation mode
Plantation : Indoor: It is suggested to sow 8-10 weeks before planting outside. Keep the temperature around 18-20 °C. Germination time is between 10-14 days. Transplant the seedlings when they reach 5 cm, in a pot. Outdoor: You can sow them outdoors from June to September in a mini nursery. Keep the soil moist until emergence.
Soil : Indoor: Well-drained, porous seedlings soil to prevent overwatering. Outdoor: Ordinary and light floor.
Culturals practices : Transplanting into the ground is done in October because to flower well the following spring, the Money Plant must be subjected to the cold of winter (it is a biennial). Transplant in the fall, 30 cm apart, in ordinary soil, preferably light and more in partial shade, but it adapts to all kinds of situations. Afterwards, the plant easily reseeds on its own ... but without becoming invasive. Transplant the new seedlings when they reach 5 cm, in the beds, spaced 40 cm in all directions. She willingly reseeds herself in the garden. If the location is not suitable, move the young plants in September-October by lifting them with a small clod of earth.
