Sunny Delight is a very distinctive variety in its class. This precocious, yellow scallop squash, with a flat disk shape, matures earlier and resists greening better than similar varieties. It produces flavourful, bright yellow fruits with a small blossom end scar. An easy-to-pick delight for your home garden.

Cultural practices : warm season crop, which requires temperatures of 18 ° C to 27 ° C. Seedlings indoors three to four weeks before the last spring frost or directly in the garden.
Soil : it requires warm, fertile, well-drained soil and full sun exposure.
Spacing : sow each seed 2.5 cm deep, in mounds 1.5 to 2 m apart. Thin them out later, keeping the best two or three plants.
Growing tips : water a lot to conserve moisture, incorporate organic matter into the soil and mulch after planting. In cooler regions, protect young plants with bells or tunnels. Types with running vines can be installed on solid supports.
