A family-friendly ornamental pepper with exceptional garden performance. Chilly Chili, as the name implies, is a non-pungent fruit. The “heat” was eliminated from the pepper by crossing. The fruit changes colour from yellow to orange, then red at maturity. Chilly Chili is extremely heat tolerant.

Cultural practices : seed indoors in March in light potting soil. Transplant into a pot when the seedlings have two pairs of true leaves.

Soil : light, humus-like and fresh.

Spacing : transplant to the garden, in full sun, as soon as the risk of frost on the ground has passed. Space the plants 30 cm apart in rows 60 cm apart.

Growing tips : water regularly during the flowering period. Fertilize once a month with a fertilizer rich in potassium.

Harvest : the pepper is harvested about 5 to 6 months after sowing, that is to say in August for sowing in March. The peppers continue to ripen after harvest and their color changes for a few days. To keep peppers for a long time, they must be dried in the sun by hanging them by their peduncle. They can also be dried in the oven at low temperature, at 50 ° C.
