Lancelot is the ideal leek for all your fall dishes. With its bluish and erect foliage, Lancelot produces white stalks that can reach up to 30 cm in length. Lancelot can also be sown tight for a summer harvest of small, tender and juicy leeks.
Green Thumb
Cultural practices : the leek has a slow vegetative development. Sow it indoors in early March, thinning out too dense seedlings. When the foliage of the leek seedlings reaches 6 to 8 cm in length, cut off the ends so that the plants grow larger.
Soil : very rich, very deep, well exposed to the sun.
Spacing : Transplant them into the garden as soon as the soil allows (12 ° C), spacing them 10-15 cm and 25 cm between the rows.
Growing tips : Transplant them into the garden as soon as the soil allows (12 ° C), spacing them 10-15 cm and 25 cm between the rows.
Harvest : pluck the leeks, shake the earth, cut the roots to 1 cm and shorten the leaves.
