Culturals practices : Plant Achillea in full sun in well-drained soil. In heavy or clayey soils, an addition of sand of medium grain size will be necessary. Most Achilleas are drought tolerant and weekly watering is more than enough for them; once installed, they are even plants known to grow on their own, without any maintenance other than cutting back the clump at the end of flowering. It supports tree root competition, which makes it a good ground cover at the edge of undergrowth.
