A superb variety of celery in an apple green colour. Its stalks are smooth and crunchy with no bitter taste. Crop assured even during periods of heat.
Green Thumb
Cultural practices : sow it indoors in early March in light, sandy soil, covering the seeds with three millimeters of soil. There will be germination after three weeks at a temperature of 18 ° C. Transplant into individual pots when the plant is 2.5 cm high.
Soil : rich in organic matter.
Spacing : at the end of May, place in the garden at a distance of 20 to 30 cm between the plants in rows spaced at least 60 cm apart.
Growing tips : mulching in order to reduce weed growth and maintain moisture, care must be taken to ensure that the soil is not constantly wet.
Harvest : cut the entire plant at ground level before the seeds appear, or cut the stems on the periphery as and when required.
